President Rodrigo Duterte has declared May 13 a special non-working holiday to pave way for the mid-term national and local elections.

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, by the authority of the president, signed Proclamation No. 719 on May 9 to enable the people to properly exercise their right to vote.

Nationwide, there are 61,843,750 voters.

Palawan has a total of 677,185 registered voters, including Puerto Princesa with 153,871 voters.
