Sarge Cuatro, the official mascot of the Joint Task Group South (MBLT-4), recently visited Mangsee Island in Balabac which had been hard hit by last December’s Storm Vinta, to help in the island’s rehabilitation efforts.

Lt Christopher Maguensay, Acting Public Information Officer of MBLT-4, said their mascot’s visit was part of their stress debriefing activity for the victims of Vinta and to assist in the ongoing the relief operations led by the provincial government.

Aside from distributing assistance, Sarge Cuatro also gave short performances to the children.

Kahit panandalian ay naaliw sila,” he said.

Maguensay added that expect the appearance of Sarge Cuatro in the upcoming activities of Western Command and MBLT-4.
