A resident of Barangay Mandaragat was arrested Monday in a buy-bust operation by law enforcement authorities for possessing over P380,000-worth of shabu.
Arrested in Palanca Road, Purok Bukang Liwayway, Mandaragat was Aldrin Joya Sena, 34, a resident of the same area, according to city Anti-Crime Task Force (ACTF) chief Richard Ligad.
Ligad said Sena was arrested after their undercover agent was able to purchase from him a sachet containing a substance believed to be shabu.
“Almost one month siyang [under] surveillance ng Anti-Crime at ng PDEA (Philippine Drug Enforcement Authority) at ito nga kanina na-buy-bust siya. Dati na siya sa ganyang trabaho, nahuli na namin siya, hindi ko nga alam kung paano nakalabas ‘yan,” said Ligad.
Aside from the marked money and other paraphernalia, authorities also seized from him other plastic sachets that contain over 56 grams of suspected shabu.
