A man just released from jail on a drugs charge was nabbed anew in a buy-bust operation headed by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Monday afternoon in Rizal Avenue.

Ryan Glenn Fernando, who just got out of jail six months ago, was arrested in Purok Katarungan, Zone 2, Vicente Road 2 in the jurisdiction of Barangay San Miguel.

A PDEA agent who declined to be named said their first “test buy” succeeded in determining that Fernando went back to the illegal activity that got him jailed the first time.

The agent also said they had him under surveillance for several days before the actual drugs buy-bust operation.

Seized from him were a sachet of suspected shabu, a Huawei mobile phone, and other paraphernalia.
