Mayor Lucilo Bayron vowed on Monday to open his administration’s first “mini city hall” in Barangay Macarascas by early September.
Speaking during the flag raising ceremony at the City Hall on Monday, Mayor Bayron said he wants the satellite city hall to be operational by September 2.
He added that he has also ordered the City Engineering Office (CEO) to hasten the construction of another mini city hall building in Barangay Napsan.
Three other satellite city halls will be put up in Brgys. Napsan, Luzviminda, and San Rafael.
Earlier, former city councilor Jonjie Rodriguez, who was tasked to lead the operations, said the mini city halls will focus on fast tracking the implementation of infrastructure projects in the areas.
Rodriguez also said the facilities will also bring different services to residents with transactions with the city government without going to City Hall.
