Cebu Pacific is eyeing to operate direct regular flights from Hong Kong to Puerto Princesa and vice versa, Mayor Lucilo Bayron disclosed Monday.
Bayron announced this during the traditional flag-raising ceremony at the City Hall on Monday, October 14.
He said the regional officer of Cebu Pacific is going to pay him a visit afternoon of Monday to discuss the matter.
“Iyong punta niya ay upang i-inform tayo officially na ‘yong Cebu Pac ay hindi lang mag-i-initiate ng flight galing sa Clark, kung hindi, regular flight galing Hong Kong papuntang Puerto Princesa,” said Bayron.
Bayron said Cebu Pacific will also initiate a Clark International Airport (CIA) to Puerto Princesa City International Airport (PPCIA) back-and-forth direct flights.
“Ngayong linggo na ito darating ‘yong regional officer ng Cebu Pac, ngayong hapon ‘yon, kaya dapat papunta akong Manila, hindi ako makaalis ngayong umaga o tanghali, aantayin ko ito,” he added.
