The provincial board has called on municipal government officials to strictly implement Republic Act 9482 or the Anti-Rabies Law.

Board Member Juan Antonio Alvarez, author of the resolution, said his office has received complaints about stray dogs particularly in tourist spots in the province.

Alvarez also said  there are also instances that vehicular accidents are caused by dogs freely roaming on the streets.
