The event will be held on August 13-16, 2019, said the statement sent on Wednesday by the Kalahi-CIDSS National Community-Driven Development Program (NCDDP) through Claudine Complativo.
Barangay Sub-Project Management Committee (BSPMC) chairpersons from the municipalities of Quezon, Balabac, Taytay, and Narra in Palawan; Calatrava and Magdiwang in Romblon; Magsaysay and Sablayan in Occidental Mindoro, and Gloria in Oriental Mindoro are expected to share their experiences in the implementation of the Kalahi-CIDSS in their respective barangays.
The statement said they are likewise set to learn from over 200 community volunteers who will attend from various areas in the county.
The BSPMC is a community organization, composed of various volunteers who are tasked to carry out the implementation of their chosen community projects.
Through the community-driven development strategy of the Kalahi-CIDSS, the community members are involved in planning, identification, implementation, monitoring, and management of the development interventions brought to poor communities, with assistance from local-based community empowerment facilitators, said the statement.
To date, Kalahi-CIDSS in the MIMAROPA has 32,017 community volunteers who are in the forefront of the sub-project implementation in their respective barangays.
