The House of Representatives has approved in the third and final reading the House Bill No. 02590 or the creation of the regional extension office of Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board in Puerto Princesa City.
3rd District Representative Atty. Gil Acosta Jr. who authored the bill said that extension office will ease the process of the Public Utility Vehicles (PUV) of the operators and drivers from Palawan.
He said that the measure will address the needs of the Palaweño when it comes to public transportation-related transactions which is presently provided by LTFRB Region IV in Lipa City, Batangas.
He added that the establishment of the extension office will be more convenient as they bring services closer to the public.
