Youth-led organization House of Tala by Awon PH is launching numerous activities for art and environment enthusiasts as part of the first-anniversary celebration.

The organization is calling for campaign participants to post their artwork submissions in celebration of National Rice Month in September.

House of Tala is part of Awon PH’s initiatives to bring awareness to agriculture and environmental issues amidst the pandemic.

House of Tala’s #ArtForEarth campaign, which is open to digital artists willing to publish their work online, will run from September 1 to 20. The theme is “Eco at Ako #magbayANIhan! #RICEponsibilidad gampanan!” Artworks will be published on Awon PH’s social media accounts, mainly on Twitter.

On September 5, there will also be an online gathering for their members. Called A-ONE PH, the event aims to commemorate the new friendships formed amidst the pandemic and celebrate each other’s commitment to saving the environment.

Lastly, on September 25, a webinar titled “Eco at Ako para sa Kalikasan” will be held to talk about how everyone can help local farmers and aid Philippine agriculture.
