Good weather can be expected in most of the Visayas, including some areas in Palawan, in time for Undas 2019 as the weather disturbance being monitored had left the country’s area of responsibility on Tuesday, the state weather bureau said.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather specialist Loriedin dela Cruz said Wednesday that even the weather disturbance outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has no direct effect on the country.
PAGASA is also monitoring a shallow low-pressure area (LPA) on the eastern part of Mindanao whose center was recently located at 865 kilometers east of Davao.
But she said it has a low chance of developing into a tropical depression.
There is also no gale warning advisory released on any seaboard of the country.
In the municipalities, moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are affecting the towns of Aborlan, Quezon and nearby areas which may persist within 1-2 hours.
