The Raptor pick up vehicle who tries to overtake a tricycle and causes a four-vehicle collission

Four vehicles figured in a collision early Tuesday morning in Barangay San Jose, Puerto Princesa City. No one was seriously hurt in the incident.

P/Maj. Edgar Salazar, station commander of the City Police Station 2 said the accident was blamed on the driver of a Raptor pick up vehicle who tried to overtake a tricycle and occupied a lane where the other vehicles were coming from the opposite direction.

The suspect was identified as Jay Mago Ibon, 22 years old from Brgy. San Pedro, driver of white Ford Raptor.

Incurring minor injuries were Amador De Mesa Marquez, 58 years old from Barangay Sta. Monica, driver of a white Toyota Vios taxi; Mario Cacabilos Padillon, 56 years, an employee of PALECO and a resident of Barangay San Jose, driver of galvanized tricycle; and Federico Gacasa Basco, 59 years old from Barangay San Manuel, driving a color blue tricycle.

The incident was recorded by a CCTV camera.

Salazar said that the driver of Raptor vehicle will be facing a case of reckless imprudence resulting in double physical injury and multiple damage to property.
