A fisherman wanted for frustrated murder was arrested Saturday evening in Brgy. Tagumpay, Coron, northern Palawan.
The suspect was identified as John Rey Burga Ynot, 35, a resident of Sito Sader, Brgy. Bantulan, Taytay.
Ynot is facing frustrated murder with recommended bail of P200,000.
The arrest was conducted by joint personnel of the Coron Municipal Police Station (MPS), Regional Mobile Forward Group-MIMAROPA, Palawan Counter Intelligence Tracker Team (PALCITT) and Naval Force West (NFW) based on a warrant of arrest dated March 12, 2019, issued by Judge Paul Jagmis, Jr., by Branch 95 of the Regional Trial Court, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Ynot is now under the custody of the Coron Municipal Police Station.
