A fire burned down a warehouse owned by Puerto Construction Development Corporation Cost Plus in Brgy. San Pedro, around 6 a.m. Friday.

Fire 0fficer 1 John Dave Ignacio, arson investigator, told Palawan News that the fire coming from the warehouse was first noticed by resident Ruben Secradon who was throwing away garbage.

He said Secradon saw that the warehouse was on fire and immediately called for help from another resident, Bert Flores.

Secradon immediately ran to Flores who reported it to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

Initial investigation showed that the fire was caused by the warehouse’s faulty electrical wiring.
