Fine weather can be expected in Palawan, except in the afternoon and evening due to localized thunderstorms, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
State weather bureau specialist Loriedin dela Cruz said the tail-end of the cold front is affecting the eastern side of northern Luzon.
PAGASA’s forecast said the whole Visayas, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.
Moderate to strong winds from east to northeast will prevail over the province and Occidental Mindoro with moderate to rough sea conditions.
The province could experience a temperature of 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
The northeast monsoon or Amihan is still currently prevailing that causes gale warnings to most of the provinces of Luzon landmass, she said.
