Ang mga suspek ay kinilalang sina Sharon Grace Claro Lawas, 45 taong gulang, at ang kasintahan nitong si Dean Henry West, 59, mula sa bansang New Zealand.

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) apprehended a couple in a buy-bust operation conducted at 1 a.m. today, August 12, at a home along D. Manga Street, Barangay Magkakaibigan, Puerto Princesa City.
The suspects were identified as Sharon Grace Claro Lawas, 45, and her boyfriend Dean Henry West, 59, a New Zealand national.

Authorities confiscated three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, two improvised lighters, a stainless needle, aluminum foil, and the buy-bust money.
PDEA agents said they received information about Lawas’ transactions through their text line “Isumbong mo kay Wilkins.”
According to the report, Lawas who is also a Zumba instructor sells drugs to her clients and lets them use it inside her house only.
“Hindi niya pinapalabas, doon na niya pinagagamit,” a PDEA agent stated.
Meanwhile, West denied that he is Lawas’ boyfriend and said he was only fetched by her Wednesday night to come to her house.
The suspects are now under the custody of PDEA while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.
