The municipality of Sofronio Española received on Friday some P200,000 from the provincial government for all its nine barangays, from funds that came from the Cash Aid Assistance program.

The fund was originally intended as livelihood assistance but was released in order to augment local resources in fighting the spread of COVID-19.

Board Member Ferdinand Zaballa, president of the Liga ng mga Barangay sa Palawan, facilitated the distribution of the funds to the barangay treasurers of all the barangays at the Municipal Multi-Purpose Hall.
