SOFRONIO ESPAÑOLA, Palawan — The local social welfare office here is validating a master list of 9,000 beneficiaries from the national government’s Social Amelioration Program provided under the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.
Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Grace dela Torre told Palawan News they have allocated only 9,000 bar-coded Social Amelioration Cards (SAC) for the relief assistance program of the national government.
She said their office will be ready to submit their consolidated masterlist to their central office by Friday, April 3.
The DSWD said it began profiling and interviewing beneficiaries from nine barangays of Sofronio Española on April 2.
The DSWD masterlist includes Barangay AboAbo (850 households), Isumbo (615 households), Panitian (1600 households), Labog (950 households), Punang (809 households), Iraray (760 households), Pulot Shore (950 households), Pulot Center (1710 households), Pulot Interior (760 households)
