A man died in Narra after he was allegedly mauled by his female employer during a drinking session Wednesday.
P/Capt. Ric Ramos of the Palawan Provincial Police Office (PPO) identified the victim as 56-years-old, Rodrigo Lucena, laborer, who is originally from Barangay Sandoval, Bataraza, but temporarily residing at Purok Maligaya, Brgy. Antipuluan, Narra.
The suspect was named as Rosalinda Barrera, a resident of Langka Street, Brgy. Poblacion in the same town.
Ramos said Lucena and Barrera had a drinking session at her vulcanizing shop in Antipuluan. After having several bottles, they decided to go to Sitio Tugbuan, Brgy. Malinao to drink some more.
However, a heated argued reportedly ensued between the two. Barrera kicked Lucena who fell on the ground and shoved his head several times on the flooring.
Barrera then fled to escape, Ramos said.
The victim who sustained multiple injuries was brought to Narra Hospital by the personnel of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO).
He was transferred to the Ospital ng Palawan where he succumbed to serious injuries.
