The Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division in Palawan is encouraging the disinfection of all schools as a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
On Thursday, the division office in Palawan underwent disinfection activities in cooperation with the Department of Health (DOH) MIMAROPA, said division information officer Grace Estefano.
“Kami naman ang ginawa namin dito ay collaboration ni DepEd Palawan sa DOH for this disinfection. Ngayon, ang mga eskwelahan ay hinihikayat din na magkaroon ng disinfection sa kanilang mga schools habang wala ang mga bata,” she said.
Estefano said schools in the municipalities can coordinate with their local health officials on how to go about this, including town officials.
