The Department of Agriculture (DA) is set to roll out its “Buy 2, Take 2” fertilizer policy scheme to help farmers during the rainy season.

Rice Comprehensive Enhancement Fund (RCEF) national program coordinating team leader and director of field operations services Engr. Roy Abaya said in a virtual presser that this will benefit farmers enrolled in the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA).

“Ito yong bago nating programa ngayong wet season, magbibigay tayo ng fertilizers sa ating mga magsasaka,” he said.

“Itong Buy 2, Take 2 ay sila ang bibili ng kanilang fertilizer at least dalawang fertilizer mapakita nila at resibo mapakita nila para masiguro na kumpleto ang kanilang fertilizer na i-apply nila sa ating pananim,” he said.

Data provided by DA MIMAROPA showed that some 17,868 have updated their RSBSA forms enrolled in the system as of May 2020.
