The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has suspended its remaining written career service examinations due to the continuing pandemic.

In a statement released Thursday, the CSC said that the implementation of public health standards forced the suspension of the following examinations through the pen-and-paper test (PPT) mode this year:

* Fire Officer Examination, Penology Officer Examination, Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination scheduled on June 21;
* Career Service Examination (CSE) PPT (Professional and Subprofessional Levels) scheduled for August 9; and
* Intermediate Competency on Local Treasury Examination, Pre-Employment Test, Promotional Test, Ethics-Oriented Personality Test scheduled for October 11.

The conduct of the professional and subprofessional CSE-PPT supposedly on March 15 was also moved for 2021.

It was supposed to be held in 66 testing locations nationwide with an estimated total of 293,845 individuals registered to take the test.

A separate issuance regarding the rescheduled examination will be released by the CSC.
