The Coron police on Sunday arrested a dance instructor and an employee of the Palawan State University (PSU) following a drug buy-bust operation.

Coron Municipal Police Station (MPS) chief P/Maj. Thirz Starky Timbancaya identified the suspects as Paul Jayson Gujilde, 26, a dance instructor, and Annaleah Vocal, 45, a student records officer at PSU. Both were arrested during a police sting operation in Barangay Poblacion 3 while they were in the act of selling two sachets of shabu to an undercover police buyer.

A follow-up search of the Coron MPS and 1st Coy RMFB ng Police Regional Office in MIMAROPA on Gujilde yielded 38 sachets of shabu.

Timbancaya said they are preparing the filing of cases against the suspects for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
