Unidentified armed men shot and killed a member of the Aborlan Municipal Police Station (MPS) Friday morning in Brgy. Plaridel, Aborlan, southern Palawan.
A report from the municipal MPS identified the victim as Police Senior Master Sergeant Nelzahib Aizo, 47.
The report stated that Aizo was walking outside his house when three men riding a black Kawasaki Bajaj motorcycle stopped and shot him several times before fleeing.
Aizo sustained multiple gunshot wounds causing his death.
Investigators recovered 13 cartridges of cal. 9mm pistol in the scene of the crime.
Police operatives are now conducting manhunt operations against the unidentified suspects.
