The Puerto Princesa City National Science High School (PPCNSHS) held the graduation ceremonies of its students and completers via video streaming on its Facebook page.
Due to the current pandemic crisis, all the mass gatherings have been prohibited, including the conduct of graduation and moving up rites.
Upon approval of the Schools Division Office, she said they coordinated with the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) teachers to work on the project with the support of the whole faculty.
“Within one week nabuo namin ang virtual graduation and completion rites,” she said.
They also coordinated with the resources speakers, keynote persons, awardees, and teachers included in their program to record their speeches which were included in the video streaming.
After a week of preparation, the program was successfully held on May 12, gaining more than 4,000 views.
Included in the virtual graduation and completion rites were the parts from the traditional program like the processional, welcome remarks, presentation of candidates, and awarding of certificates.
