The Oplan Linis Program (OLP) of the city government facilitated a sanitation operation for public utility vehicles (PUVs) to prevent the spreading of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Drew Manlawe, program manager of the OLP, said Monday that the city government wanted to protect the drivers, especially the commuters, in their everyday journey.
He added that they will be doing this every day at the Puerto Princesa City Coliseum and the drivers are highly encouraged to have their vehicles sanitized for the safety of everybody.
“Everyday itong gagawin from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ito ay libre kaya lahat ng mga public utility vehicle ay ini-encourage namin na magpa-sanitize kasi in a small way nakakatulong tayo sa kaligtasan ng ating mga mamamayan,” Manlawe added.
