Visitations and other activities at the Puerto Princesa City Jail are temporary suspended as of Thursday due to COVID-19.

J01 Filly Erika Argueza told Palawan News on Thursday the suspension will be in effect until March 25.

Arquenza said the PPCJ management will not be accepting visitors at the facility and activities of the jail that will require congregation of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) will be suspended.

They appealed for the understanding of the community, especially the families of the PDLs who have planned to visit their detained relatives.
