The close contacts of two Capitol personnel assigned at the Provincial Legal Office (PLO) who were earlier found positive for COVID-19 have all tested negative, the provincial government announced Monday.
The PIO stated that the test results from recent contact tracing efforts have so far cleared all those who had been tested and are still under quarantine.
“Bagama’t nag negatibo na sa swab test ang lahat ng naging close contact, upang makasiguro para sa kaligtasan ng lahat ay tatapusin ng mga ito ang itinakdang 14-day quarantine period bago pumasok sa tanggapan,” the PIO statement said.
Contact tracing was done after the two employees of the Provincial Legal Office (PLO) were announced to be positive for the new coronavirus disease on June 25.
The PLO, which was temporarily closed for disinfection, will resume operations on July 2, according to Mary Joy Ordaneza-Cascara, assistant provincial legal officer.
Employees who were not in close contact with the two COVID-19 positive employees will also return to work, the PIO statement added.
