Sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other medical supplies have been delivered by the provincial government to the remote island town of Balabac for frontliners combating COVID-19.

They were delivered on April 9, according to Mitra Tanjilani, the chief of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) of Balabac.

“Malaking tulong itong ipinadala sa aming mga PPE mula sa pamahalaang panlalawigan upang hindi na kami bumili at maghanap. Yong mga face masks, para sa mga frontliners natin ibibigay. Lahat ng control points natin sa Balabac, particularly sa mga health personnel natin,” Tanjilani said to Palawan News.

The PPE and other medical supplies are comprised of face masks, gowns, non-contact thermometers, and gloves.
