Sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other medical supplies have been delivered by the provincial government to the remote island town of Balabac for frontliners combating COVID-19.

They were delivered on April 9, according to Mitra Tanjilani, the chief of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) of Balabac.

The PPE and other medical supplies are comprised of face masks, gowns, non-contact thermometers, and gloves.
