An anti-narcotics operation carried out by the Balabac police Friday morning led to the arrest of a fisherman who was allegedly selling drugs in Barangay Bancalaan, Balabac.

Police Lt. Col. Socrates Faltado of the regional police office in MIMAROPA identified him in a report as Nuhun Ton Doro, 55, a fisherman and a resident of Sitio Matangule in the same barangay where he was nabbed.

Faltado said Doro is a newly-identified drug pusher on the list of the police in Balabac.

Confiscated from him during the buy-bust was 12 heat-sealed plastic sachets reportedly containing shabu, including the one that was purchased from him by an undercover police operative.

Also recovered was the P3,000 buy-bust money.

Doro has been placed under detention for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
