One person was arrested in a joint buy bust operation Thursday of the Brooke’s Point Municipal Police Station (MPS) and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of the Palawan Provincial Police Office (PPPO) in Sitio Buligay, Barangay Poblacion District 1, Brooke’s Point town.
The suspect was identified as Emmanuel Guerrero, 20 years old, tricycle driver and a resident of Edwards Subdivision.
Authorities seized from his possession two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, cash amounting to P2,444, one piece P1,000 bill, one motorcycle, and one unit of Suzuki scooter motorcycle key.
The suspect faces charges of violating Section 5 and 11 of RA 9165.
He is now detained at the municipal police station and the suspected illegal drugs will be brought to the Palawan Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
