Nakapagtala ng mataas na bilang ng new enrollees ang Palawan State University (PSU) Sofronio Española campus habang nasa ilalim ng pagpapatupad ng flexible learning scheme para sa unang semester ng School Year 2021-2022.
May kabuoang 231 first year students ang nagpa-enroll ngayon para sa mga kursong Bachelor of Elementary Education, BS in Entrepreneur, BS in Agriculture, at Bachelor in Business Administration major in Financial Management.
Ayon kay Sandra Manzul, school director ng PSU sa Sofronio Española, mas mataas ng nasa 60-70 percent ang bilang ng enrollment ngayon, kumpara sa nakalipas na school year.
“Ini-expect nga namin na mababa talaga pero we recorded na mataas ang nag-enroll amidst the pandemic, since nag-start tayo ng enrollment noong July,” pahayag ni Manzul, Miyerkules, August 25.
Dagdag niya, maaari ring magbago ang bilang na ito sa second semester. “Anticipated natin na sa second semester, maaaring may hihinto sa pag-aaral nila,” aniya.
Samantala, noong Lunes, August 23 nagsimula na ang unang flexible learning scheme para sa first semester.
“There’s no going back, flexible learning is the new norm as advised by the Commission on Higher Education, the PSU Española campus has adopted the flexible learning system policy, which involves a combination of digital and non-digital technology. Welcome and enjoy the virtual learnings,” mensahe ni Manzul sa mga mag-aaral.
