A barangay treasurer facing a criminal case for “malversation of public funds” was arrested by the Narra police Saturday.
The suspect was identified by P/Capt. Ric Ramos of the Palawan Provincial Police Office as Hilly Rose Tayaben Doliente, 35, of Barangay Estrella Village, Narra.
Doliente is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Norferio B. Nono, Presiding Judge of the Municipal Trial Court of Narra. She is facing 21 counts of Malversation of Public Funds.
The suspect was allowed to post a bail of P720,000.
