A member of Task Force Bantay Palawan (TFBP) was arrested Friday by the police in Barangay Tiniguiban for alleged drug pushing.
Police Officer 3 Ryan Grandia identified the suspect as Federico Reloba, a resident of Barangay San Jose.
Grandia said Reloba has been under their watch since he was named as a high-value target (HVT) on their list.
“Matagal na itong minamanmanan ang suspect. Isa sya sa mga identified na high-value target,” he said.
The suspect was arrested at around 6:00 p.m. at Pablico Road, Tiniguiban, by operatives of the Puerto Princesa City Police Office-Drug Enforcement Unit (PPCPO-DEU).
Seized from Reloba was a packet of five grams of suspected shabu estimated to have a street value of P30,000; a small sachet containing less than one gram of the white crystalline substance; a cellular phone; and the P2,000 marked money.
Reloba denied he was selling shabu, claiming he is “just a user, not a pusher.”
“Totoo ‘yan na gumagamit ako kasi kailangan ko talaga ngayon. Hindi naman palagi , ngayon lang naman. Pero ako ang bumibili at hindi ako ‘yong nagbebenta. Bumibili lang ako ng halagang P5,000. Maawa naman kayo. Hindi naman ako ganyan tulad ng sinasabi ninyo na nagbebenta, bumibili lang ako para sa akin lang,” Reloba said.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 had been filed against him.
