The first and original Ate Rica’s Bacsilog on-the-go, best known for serving delicious, quality, fast, clean, and superior “silog” meals is already here in Puerto Princesa City.
Bacsilog or bacon, sinaing (steamed rice not garlic fried rice), itlog (egg), its star meal and innovative variant to other popular Filipino quick breakfast fares, is now available to Palaweños who are either traveling or zipping around being busy.
Founder Rica Peñalosa, who started the company in May 2006, led the ribbon-cutting during the opening on August 29, 2019, with franchisees Dan and Deanna Dima-ala at the 2nd Floor of Robinsons Place Palawan.
Ate Rica’s Bacsilog offers all-day breakfast omelettes, combo meals-in-a-bowl, and silog meals that are affordable to students, young professionals, office workers, mothers, and those who are constantly on the move.

Rica said creating the Bacsilog requires plain rice, fried egg, and juicy bacon topped with their signature cheese sauce, and other liquid seasonings for the best to-go silog experience.
For those who want a taste of two worlds, Dan and Deanna said it is best to try ordering a combo of two variations in one bowl.
Combo meals are priced at P99.
The Dima-alas are also inviting everyone to try out their chart-topper Bacsilog to find out why it tastes so delicious.
Ate Rica’s Bacsilog is open Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Dan and Deanna also announced plans to launch another branch here in Palawan soon!
