Tropical Depression “Amang” which has weakened into a low-pressure area (LPA) will still bring rain showers in other parts of the country but not Palawan.

Sonny Pajarilla, chief of the local Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said Monday that some parts of both southern and northern Palawan will only experience passing light rains and cloudiness due to the existence of the northeast monsoon or amihan.

Amihan will continue to affect areas in Luzon and Visayas.
