In line with Subaraw Festival, Binhi Mindful Market and Rurungan Sunday Market are focusing their next market’s theme on biodiversity.

What really is the essence of “biodiversity”? And as active and conscious citizens, how do we protect and ethically celebrate our island’s biodiversity?

With the theme, “Palawan: The Last Frontier?,” join Binhi sa Rurungan as they hold a series of discussions with Centre for Sustainability on how we can protect Palawan’s biodiversity in land, air, and sea.

A discussion on the issues surrounding our food system; how it affects our health, the welfare of the farmers, and the environment, will be given by Gia Querubin of Binhi Mindful Market.

Jessa Garibay of Centre for Sustainability will be focusing on Cleopatra’s Needle Critical Habitat and the endemic creatures in Puerto Princesa.

And to bring back their music closer to home, Mara and Jaycen of High Hello, will also have their third leg of “Pagsibol sa Palawan” featuring local and guest artists from Manila.

Organic produce and local crafts will be available in the market and a burger buffet will be available at Kusina ni Tito Ernie.

This coming Sunday, November 10, at Rurungan compound in Abanico Street.
