The MS Maasdam arrives in Puerto Princesa Port carrying a total of 1,114 passengers.

Cruise ship MS Maasdam docked at the port of Puerto Princesa City on Tuesday carrying with it 1,114 tourists.

Michie Meneses, chief of the promotion and marketing division of the City Tourism Office, said the cruise ship is the ninth ship to arrive in the city this year.

“Kanina nga base sa sinabi po ng captain of the ship, tayo ay natutuwa na kanila pong na-appreciate ‘yong welcome reception na we provided para sa kanilang pagdating at sa kanilang mga bisita,” Meneses said.

MS Maasdam is managed by Holland America Line (HAL) cruise company which is based in Seattle, Washington, USA but Carnival Corporation owns the ship.

The 41-day cruise started on February 15 and will end on March 28.

The cruise started in Singapore and will end in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
