Lock your doors and windows.
This is the advice of the city police to the public as robbery cases is rising in the city during this season.
Just recently, Irawan Police Station chief Saul Eleazar said that a resident of Brgy. Sta. Moica came to the station and filed a complaint as their house was ransacked by robbers.
“Nakalimutan lamang ipadlock ang bahay at pagbalik nila ay gulo-gulo na ang mga gamit sa loob,” said Eleazar.
Police authorities have intensified their monitoring activities and went to every barangay to provide tips on crime prevention.
Aside from robbery, carnapping is also on the rise. One student of Palawan State University reported to the police station after his motorcycle was taken by still unidentified suspect.
Recently, a suspect of a separate carnapping incident was arrested by taking a motorcycle of another person and brought it to Narra town. He is now facing charges.
