A van dispatcher and a construction worker were arrested Monday at BM Road, San Pedro during a police buy-bust operation.

Richard Ligad, Anti-Crime Task Force head, identified the suspects as Jalil Khalid Umpong, 35, from Brgy. Tiniguiban and Parson Alpha Sali, 30, San Pedro.

Both Umpong and Sali are newly identified pushers according to the police authorities.

The operatives were able to buy one piece of transparent plastic sachet suspected as shabu in exchange of P1,500.

Aside from the suspected shabu, the operatives confiscated one unit Vivo cellphone from Khalid.

The operation was conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit, City Mobile Force Company, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Anti-Crime Task Force.
