Robbery suspects Joshua Reñosa and Reymark Patiag while being investigated at the Puerto Princesa City Police Office (PPCPO) Station 1 on June 5, 2019, after their arrest.

Two robbery suspects were arrested by police authorities in Abad Santos Extension, Brgy. Bancao-Bancao, Wednesday morning.

The suspects were identified as Joshua Reñosa, 19, resident of Burgos-Mabini St., Brgy. Maunlad; and Reymark Patiag, 25, resident of 38-E. Baltan Street, Brgy. San Miguel.

They were arrested after a victim, Angela Elocat, 19, a resident of Bancao-Bancao, reported to the police that she was held up by the suspects along Abad Santos Extension on June 5, taking away her cellular phone.

Personnel of the Puerto Princesa City Police Office (PPCPO) Station 1 managed to track the suspects who had fled on a white motorcycle.

Recovered from Patiag was the cellular phone of the victim.

Patiag denied his involvement and pointed to Reñosa as the one who planned the holdup.

Reñosa was previously arrested for possession of illegal drugs and is allegedly a member of a robbery-hold up group, while Patiag has no previous criminal record.

The suspects are now detained at the station’s custodial facility.
