The SM Foundation has extended its college scholarship program application for academic year 2018-2019 until January 31, 2018.
Applicants must be Grade 12 graduating students of either a public high school or a private high school (with Department of Education voucher after completing Grade 10 from public schools) with general weighted average of at least 88% by the second or third grading period.
To accommodate deserving students, the scholarship requires that the total household income of the applicant must not exceed P150,000 per year.
For applicants from the province, Palawan State University (PSU) is the sole partner the Higher Education Institution of SM Foundation.
Applications will be evaluated, and SM Foundation will come up with a list of qualified applicants who can proceed to take the written examination and further screening.
SM Foundation scholars enjoy their choice of specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Elementary and Secondary Education, Accountancy, and Management Accounting.
The scholarship covers full tuition. Scholars will also receive monthly allowances.
Scholars are also expected to engage in other fun-filled activities and enrichment programs throughout. They also have part-time job opportunities during semestral and Christmas breaks.
Upon graduation of the scholars, they would receive exclusive job offers with the SM Group.
