Six barangays in Brooke’s Point to benefit from Cabinbin Water System Project

The 23 kilometer water pipeline stretching to six barangays in the town of Brooke’s Point will soon supply clean and potable water coming from Cabinbin Water Supply System which was inaugurated Tuesday.


The water system is a project of the Provincial Government of Palawan and the local government of Brooke’s Point. The barangays covered by the project are Aribungos, Imulnod, Pangobilian, Poblacion 1 & 2  and Mainit. It is worth P50.450 million and has commenced construction in February 2015.


Another water system project in Brgy. Maasin will soon start to service the barangays of Maasin, Barong-Barong, Mambalot and Calasaguen.


Mayor Mary Jean Feliciano of Brooke’s Point said that these projects are great help to communities and will surely boost the town’s economy.


Within the year, several water system projects were constructed by the provincial government which are located in the towns of Narra, with three water system projects; three in Taytay, one in Rizal and one in Aborlan.
