PSFI receives 2017 PPUR Award

The City government of Puerto Princesa recognizes the partnership of Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. (PSFI)

The City government of Puerto Princesa recently recognized the Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. (PSFI) for its partnership with the local government and the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP). The recognition was made during the Thanksgiving Gala Night held last Dec 11, 2017 at the Best Western Hotel, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

PSFI was recognized for its contribution as PPSRNP as partner in the conservation and development of communities in the protected area, particularly its Turismo at Negosyo Dulot ng Ingat na Yaman (TANDIKAN) program which it has been implementing in communities inside the protected area.

PSFI has been managing social development programs of national and local scales, ranging from education and skills development (technical, vocational and agricultural), health, sanitation and safety, livelihood and enterprise development, environmental stewardship, access to energy, and leadership enhancement and attitude development.
