Prov’l Police arrests 23 persons under ‘Oplan Kalagkalag 2015’

The Palawan Provincial Police Office (PPO) arrested 23 persons under the “Oplan Kalagkalag 2015,” an operational and administrative control and management effort of the police to increase public awareness against crime during the observance of All Saint’s Day and All Soul’s Day.

Senior Inspector Aldrin Atienza, spokesperson of the PPO, said many of the 23 arrested were identified as “Most Wanted Persons with Monetary Rewards” and “Top 10 Wanted Persons” in municipalities.

Taytay in northern Palawan has the most number of arrests with five most wanted personalities arrested. It was followed by El Nido and Roxas towns with three each.

PPO Director Senior Superintendent Benjamin Acorda Jr. said the “Lambat Sibat” is still going on in the province to apprehend individuals, who have standing warrants of arrest and fleeing justice.

The 23 arrested individuals are now detained in the Palawan Provincial Jail (PPJ).
