Police Roundup


Authorities have arrested six wanted persons in separate operations conducted Friday, October 27.

 John Paul Anlap, 18 years old, fisherman was arrested around 9:30AM by personnel from Quezon police station at Purok Bagong Sigla, Alfonso XIII, Quezon, Palawan. He was subject of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Ramon Chito Mendoza of RTC Branch 49 for the crime of Attempted Murder dated on August 14, 2017.

 Eden Barsana, 30 years old was arrested by authorities from Aborlan police station around 9:30AM at Barangay San Juan, Aborlan, Palawan. He has arrest warrant for Adultery issued by Judge Norferio Nono of 4th Municipal Circuit Trial CTC) dated October 18, 2017.

 Zaldy Barsaga, 22 years old, banca crew, was arrested by  personnel of Balabac police station around 9:30AM at Barangay Poblacion 5, Balabac, Palawan. The suspect was subject of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Jose Bayani Usman of RTC Branch 50 for the crime of Consented Abduction dated August 4, 2017.

Kojit Lajata, 33 years old, farmer was arrested around 8:30AM by operatives from Balabac police station at Barangay Catagpuan, Balabac, Palawan. The suspect was arrested for violation of Sec. 78 of PD 705 (Payment, collection, and remittance of forest charges) through an arrest warrant issued by Judge Jose Evelyn Cañete of 4th MCTC Brookes Point Palawan dated August 29, 2017.

Eleuterio Panes, 46 years old, Rank 9 in Manhunt Charlie of Taytay police station, was arrested by authorities around 11:25AM at Barangay Poblacion, Taytay, Palawan. The suspect was arrested in virtue of arrest warrant in violation of Sec. 28 of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation), issued by Judge Emmanuel Artazo of MCTC Taytay-San Vicente dated September 12, 2017.

Moriel Tañedo was arrested by operatives from San Vicente police station around 7:45Am at Purok Magsasaka, Barangay News Canipo, San Vicente Palawan. The suspect was arrested for his existing warrant in violation of Sec. 77 of PD 705 (Unlawful possession of implements and devices used by forest officers) issued by Judge Ambrosio De Luna of RTC Branch 52 dated May 31, 2016.
