MIMAROPA’s 9th Most Wanted Arrested


The ninth “most wanted” in MIMAROPA was arrested by the Provincial PNP of Palawan. He is charged of rape and homicide of two minors in two different incidents in Palawan.

In the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jose B. Usman of the RTC Branch 50, the suspect, Jose Tejada Alvarez, Jr., 35 years old and resident of Bgy. Caramay, Rozas, was arrested at around 8:00 in the morning on May 5 in Bgy. Paglaum, Taytay.

It is a joint effort of  the Provincial PNP Intelligence Branch headed by Chief Inspector Vicente Cabatingan and the Taytay PNP headed by PSInsp. Analyn Paalam to arrest the suspect.

According to reports of the PNP, the suspect mercilessly raped the 11-year old girl in El Nido in 2014 and was also murdered thereafter.

Earlier in 2004, the suspect also allegedly raped an 8-year old girl in the town of Roxas.

The suspect is facing rape chargers with homicide and is currently being held at the Provincial Jail.
