Life support training held

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) conducted a Standard First Aid Training with Basic Life Support last June 13-16, 2017 to 31 employees from various government agencies.

Raymundo Quicho, head officer of the Rescue 165, said the training will provide each office with personnel who are able to apply first aid during emergencies.

All trainees were also provided with emergency kits they could use during disaster and emergency situations.

The training was a collaborative effort of the Ospital ng Palawan, Rescue 165 and the Provincial Health Office.

“Ang advantage talaga nito, bawat isa sa office nila ay magiging safe na ‘pag emergency kasi ang respondent ay nasa loob na ng office nila,” Quicho said.

Quicho said the PDRMO and the Rescue 165 will continue to conduct disaster preparedness and first aid training with life supports to as many volunteers as possible.
