IPs get vehicles from mines community program

Four units of 3-wheeled vehicles have been granted to the IP community of Sandoval, Bataraza by Rio Tuba Nickel Mining Corp. and Coral Bay Nickel Corporation through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP).

The vehicles, estimated to cost around P420,000, will be benefiting four sitios of Barangay Sandoval (Sitio Proper, Gawad Kalinga, Gangub, and Bicol Village) having a total of 300 households.

Anido Acat, chieftain of Barangay Sandoval, said that the vehicles will help their communities in the mobilization of agricultural products and in emergency cases such as transporting patients to hospitals in cases of emergency.

Vic Nablas, one of the residents of the community, expressed his appreciation for RTNMC and CBNC.

The turnover of the vehicles was held on August 8, 2017 at RTNMC-CBNC Community Relations Office.
