A 25-year old laborer was stabbed by a 32-year old farmer for still unknown reason in Barangay Princess Urduja, Narra, on Sunday, May 6.
The victim was identified as Jet Mark Fabro, a resident of Acacia Street, Barangay Poblacion, Narra, while the suspect was named as Rolando Valdez of Purok 5, Princess Urduja.
Senior Inspector Ric Ramos, the information officer of the provincial PNP, said that prior to the incident, Fabro arrived at the house of an uncle for the wake of his grandmother.
Without any provocation, Valdez suddenly attacked Fabro and stabbed him with a jungle knife. The victim sustained stab wounds on the right temple and arm.
Two hours after the incident, Valdez surrendered to Princess Urduja barangay chairman Rizaldy Roman. He is currently detained in the Narra Municipal Police Station.
He is facing a case of frustrated murder.
